What is FACTS?

FACTS (Financial Aid Eligibility and Certification Tracking System) is a web-based financial aid tool that helps students understand and monitor their eligibility for selected financial aid programs, such as TAP and scholarships. Keep in mind that FACTS is a financial aid advisement system and your official financial aid record is available in CUNYfirst.

For more information visit the CUNY FACTS guide.

NOTE: Students must apply and be approved in order to be considered for selected state financial aid programs. Learn more about New York State financial aid programs.

What are some of the things I can do in FACTS?

  • Review your financial aid audit.
  • Review a transcript summary to identify courses eligible for your degree and financial aid.
  • Check your overall financial aid eligibility and certification information.
  • Review frequently asked questions and links to other financial aid resources.
