Petition to take additional credits as a Psychology Major

Maximum Session Unit Load

For students that are in good academic standing, the maximum number of units (credits) allowed in Spring or Fall semesters is 18; 7 in the Winter intersession; and 9 per each Summer session (combined total limit of 18 credits, inclusive of all credits spanning the 10 weeks of summer).

If it is necessary to enroll above the stated limits for any semester, a petition to the Committee on Course and Standing is required. Consider your proposed course load prior to submitting a petition request.
