Can Brooklyn College Students work in an internship abroad?

Being a Brooklyn College Student means having opportunities to study abroad and find internship opportunities in a different country! Interning Abroad works in tandem with Studying Abroad, and is a collaboration between the offices of Study Abroad and the Magner Career Center.

Why Should Brooklyn College Students Intern Abroad?

Students who work abroad open the door to valuable work experience, while also adding an element of adventure. Paid and unpaid internships are available in practically every country in the world in the private, non-profit, and government sectors. Overseas positions may be short term or long term and can last anywhere from two weeks to two years.

In brief:

  • Immerse yourself in a foreign culture
  • Potential to learn or enhance another language
  • Gain a competitive advantage in the international job market
  • Learn valuable transferrable skills
