Effective May 24, 2023, the COVID-19 mandate and related protocols at CUNY, including Brooklyn College, will end.
Here is what this means for you:
- COVID-19 Testing Site: The on-campus testing site will operate until Thursday, May 18, 2023, and officially close the following day. Weekly testing for unvaccinated individuals will no longer be required for campus access starting May 24, 2023. Please make sure you test this week to have access through then. We encourage all members of our community to continue monitoring their health and to not come to campus if they are sick.
- Green Key on BC Digital ID: The green key symbol on your BC Digital ID, which has been indicative of your vaccination status, will be removed by May 24, 2023. You will no longer need to display this key to access campus facilities.
- Cleared4 Access: Access to the Cleared4 system will also be removed on May 24 2023.
While these changes signify a significant step toward pre-COVID times, we encourage all members of our community to remain vigilant and continue following recommended health guidelines. Let’s continue to prioritize the health and well-being of each other as we move forward.
