Follow these steps for downloading an unofficial transcript from CUNYfirst and adding it to your Handshake account:  

Download the Unofficial Transcript

  1. Log in to CUNYfirst
  2. Select “Student Center”
  3. Select “Transcript and Verification”
  4. On the left-hand menu select “view unofficial transcript”
  5. Select “Brooklyn College”
  6. On the right-hand side of the page select “submit”  
  7. You will then need to upload the transcript in BC Handshake.  

Upload the Transcript to Handshake

  1. Log into BC Handshake
  2. Find and select the icon with your initials in the top right corner
  3.  Select the “My Documents” tab
  4. Upload your “Unofficial Transcript” and choose the document type as “Transcript”
  5. Select “Add Document” and wait until the document is uploaded
  6. If you’d like to make your document visible on your profile, select “Feature on profile” (green tab on top right corner)

Sign in using your WebCentral ID.

How do I make a profile?

1. After logging in, you can customize your profile by choosing “My Profile”
2. List your academic history & any relevant coursework  
3. List any personal or academic projects relevant to your career interests
4. List activities or organizations you are a member of
5. Add relevant work experiences directly from your resume

> Craft a great description, highlighting your unique skills and educational background!
