WEB Lab

The WEB Lab is located on the West Quad, next to the West Quad Center (building #8 on the campus map). The WEB is your go-to spot for in-person tech support, printing, and specialty computer applications and services.

  • Monday – Thursday: 8am – 10pm
  • Friday: 8am – 4pm

Computer resources

The WEB Lab has four computer classrooms, black-and-white and color printers, 350+ public computers (Mac, Windows, and Linux).

Additional services

Free printing

All students are allocated free printouts at the start of each semester. Learn more about free printing. There lab is also equipped with color printing and photcopiers.

In-person tech support

Need help configuring your devices for BC Wi-Fi and your college email account? The WEB Lab offers in person tech support for students. Bring your device and our technicians can assist you on the spot.

Lounge space

The lab has a large lounge area, where you can read, relax, study, and charge your devices. There’s also a waiting area with bistro-style tables and plenty of bench space to have lunch, take a break, or chat with friends.

Group study rooms

Reserve one of our four group study rooms — each equipped with a whiteboard and conference-style seating.

Adaptive computing area

The lab has adaptive computing area designed specifically to accommodate the needs of students with disabilities. Situated in an easily accessible, private area of the lab, there are three PCs, each equipped with a 27″ monitor and the newest adaptive programs, including Zoom Text (screen magnification program) and JAWS (voice output of typed material). The Adaptive Computing Area also contains a Kurzweil 1000/3000 (a machine that scans the contents of a page and formats it into voice output).
