How do I change a bulletin year for major, minor, concentration, or general education requirement?

A candidate for a degree or advanced certificate may complete the program requirements as stated in any single Bulletin in effect during the time of the student’s continuous attendance in a department or program, including any official leaves of absence. If continuous attendance is broken for any reason without an official leave of absence, the applicable Bulletin requirements will be those in effect when the student registers. The student may not select particular requirements from different Bulletins.

Changing to a bulletin, prior to your initial enrollment, is not allowed; any request submitted with a prior bulletin to your initial enrollment will NOT be processed.

Students with a break in attendance without a leave of absence can only revert back to their original requirements through an appeal to the Committee on Graduate Admissions and Standards.

Please note that changing a major/program does not automatically change the concentration for that program. Changes to concentrations must be submitted separately.
