- When the Career Center is notified of on-campus jobs we share those via email. Be sure to check your email accounts frequently (both student and the personal email that the college has on file). - Please be aware there are many scam emails circulating; often, where it seems like a student or employee is advertising a job. If it comes from the career center the email domain is handshake@mail.joinhandshake.com.
- Be sure to review our red flags page anytime a suspicious email usually with high pay/a suspicious apply now link does get sent to your student email. And when in doubt reach out.
- Visit the Brooklyn College Employment Page.
- Review open roles on the CUNY jobs page (it is likely mostly full-time roles will be listed).
- Check Research Foundation of CUNY’s career page which lists opportunities at various CUNY campuses.
- Check out Federal Work Study, another program that offers on-campus employment.
- Visit various Brooklyn College offices during the beginning and end of each semester, as opportunities are more likely to open at these times!
- Check BC Handshake, the Magner Career Center’s virtual job board; on-campus jobs are sometimes added!
