What is DegreeWorks?

DegreeWorks tracks your academic progress in a simple-to-follow checklist. You can quickly see what courses you need to take and how your completed courses apply toward your degree requirements.

What are some of the things I can do in DegreeWorks?

  • Track your progress toward graduation.
  • View your individual course grades, and cumulative and major GPA.
  • Determine which courses are being counted as electives.
  • View transfer credits, waivers, and exemptions applied toward degree.
  • Use the “What-if” option to test how your coursework can be applied toward other majors, minors, or concentrations.

How do I access DegreeWorks?

Go to degreeworks.cuny.edu and sign in using your CUNY Login credentials. Your CUNY Login is typically in the form of firstname.lastname##@login.cuny.edu (the numbers are the last two digits of your CUNY EMPLID).

Where do I go for help with DegreeWorks?

Visit the student resources for DegreeWorks to review frequently asked questions and learn more about the Transfer What-if tool.
