Center for Student Disability Services

The Center for Student Disability Services (CSDS) supports all students with disabilities, facilitating appropriate accommodations providing equal access across all classrooms, programs, and services at the college. These accommodations and supports help students fully participate in their academic experience.  Some of the Services provided by the Center include:

  • Accommodations
  • A CUNY LEADS counselor who facilitates successful academic and career outcomes.
  • Support through the Collaborative Autism Spectrum Program
  • Referrals to the most appropriate resources on campus
  • Priority Registration
  • ADA part-Time TAP Program
  • New York State Voter Registration

  • Monday, 9 a.m.–4:45 p.m.
  • Tuesday, 9 a.m.–4:45 p.m.
  • Wednesday, 9 a.m.–4:45 p.m.
  • Thursday, 9 a.m.–4:45 p.m.
  • Friday, 9 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

    Please note that office hours vary during the summer and winter sessions.

Initial Request for Accommodations

  1. Log in to the CUNY Accommodate Portal
  2. Follow the steps for a New Confidential Accommodation Request Upload to upload any supporting documentation and submit your request for reasonable accommodations.

Once you submit a request to register with CSDS and share your current access needs, we’ll collaborate with you to process your request and explore possible reasonable accommodations.

Accommodations may include:

  • Extended time or a quiet location for exams
  • Access to Notes
    Priority registration for classes
  • Sign Language Interpreter
  • Use of Assistive Technology
