  1. Open CUNYfirst
  2. Sign in using your CUNY Login
  3. Go to Student Center
  4. Your EMPLID is displayed at the bottom of the Profile card

You can also find your EMPLID in the My Personal Info app.

Keep in mind that FACTS is a financial aid advisement system and your official financial aid record is available in CUNYfirst.

2. Enter your CUNY Login username or EMPLID

Your CUNY Login account username will be in the format Firstname.Lastname##@login.cuny.edu, where “##” is typically the last 2 digits of your CUNY EMPLID.

Your EMPLID is your eight digit identification number, e.g. 12345678

3. Enter your answers to two of the five security questions. These are the questions you submitted when claiming your CUNYfirst account.

4. Enter a new password and confirm.

Note: Your password must be between 13 characters and 20 characters long, and include at least one or more uppercase letters, one or more lowercase letters, one or more numeric or special characters, and must not match or contain your CUNY Login username.
