How do I Upload an Unofficial Transcript to BC Handshake?

The Magner Career Center will be transitioning to Handshake. This page will be updated to reflect that information once the accounts are live. Please check back in middle August 2024.

Some employers will ask for you to apply on HireBC and/or upload a transcript. Follow these steps for downloading an unofficial transcript from CUNYfirst: 

1. Log in to CUNYFIRST (https://cuny.edu/) 
2. Select Student Center 
3. Select Transcript and Verification 
4. On the left-hand menu select view unofficial transcript 
5. Select Brooklyn College 
6. On the right-hand side of the page select “submit” 
7. You will then need to upload the transcript in HireBC. Either you can: 

• Convert the transcript into a jpeg file and upload onto HireBC using Adobe’s online converter 

OR  

• If using PDF, you must export the document using an older version of Adobe Reader. For example: if using Adobe 7, use Adobe 6
