Course Description 

This Special Topics course is designed to introduce students to conceptual, theoretical, and methodological considerations in the work of intentionally addressing diversity, equity, and inclusion in psychological science. This course will provide an overview of theories, methods, and studies focused on diversity in psychology. Through a critical examination of theoretical and empirical articles, students will gain an understanding of how diversity is conceptualized and examined across multiple sub-disciplines of psychology. This course will also cover the role that diversity plays in individual and group processes.
