The waitlist feature in Schedule Builder allows you to join a queue for a filled course. If a class is full, you can add yourself to the waitlist through CUNYfirst. This way, you won’t need to constantly check for an open seat; the system will automatically enroll you when a spot becomes available as long as you meet the prerequisites or don’t have any conflicts with other courses you are already registered for.
