1. Go to outlook.office.com
2. Sign in using your CUNY Login credentials

IMPORTANT: CUNY Microsoft 365 requires Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for enhanced security. When you access your CUNY student email on the web from a new device, you will need to enter a verification code. You will be prompted again for this code every 14 days.

Here are instructions for adding your CUNY Microsoft 365 student mailbox to various devices:

• Accessing your CUNY student email on the web
• iOS Mail app
• Outlook app on Android
• Outlook app on iOS
• Outlook desktop on Windows
• Outlook desktop on Mac

Sign in using your CUNY Login.

MFA is required: You will be prompted to set up multi-factor authentication (MFA) for Microsoft 365.

For in-person assistance, bring your device to the WEB Lab.

3. Select Microsoft Exchange

4. Enter your name and CUNY Login ID (firstname.lastname##@login.cuny.edu).
5. Click Sign In when prompted

5. You will be redirected to the CUNY Login screen. Enter you CUNY Login credentials.

6. Select the apps you want to sync to your Mac. In addition to mail, you can sync your calendars, reminders, contacts, and notes. These will appear in the respective local Mac applications.

How to send from one of your other valid CUNY email aliases, instead of your CUNY Login email address (@login.cuny.edu)

1. Select Mail in the main menu then Preferences
2. Select Exchange > select your CUNY Login email address > then Edit Email Address
3. Click the @login.cuny.edu email address and enter your full preferred CUNY email alias: @stu-mail.brooklyn.cuny.edu, @cuny.edu, or one of your active CUNY campus aliases.

3. Enter your CUNY Login username (Firstname.Lastname##@login.cuny.edu) as your email address.

You will be redirected to the CUNY Web Applications Login page.

4. Enter your CUNY Login credentials.

5. The Mail app may request certain permissions. Tap Accept.
6. Choose the services from your M365 cloud account that you want to sync with your iOS device and tap Save.

1. Open the Outlook app.
   
   If you already have an account connected to Outlook, select the Add Account icon from the menu.

2. Enter your CUNY Login username (Firstname.Lastname##@login.cuny.edu) as your email address.

You will be redirected to the CUNY Web Applications Login page.

The Set Up Your Email dialog box will appear.

5. When asked to enter your email address in the, use your CUNY Login username (Firstname.Lastname##@login.cuny.edu).

You will be redirected to the CUNY Web Applications Login page.

6. Enter your CUNY Login credentials.

7. You should see a success prompt that your account has been added.

You should see the newly added mailbox below your other accounts. You can expand and collapse mailboxes.

2. Access Control Panel via the Windows Start button by searching “Control Panel”.

3. Select Mail (Microsoft Outlook) and then click Show Profiles.

4. Press Add to add a new profile, then choose a name, and click OK. You can use any name you want for this profile (e.g. CUNY Microsoft 365, Cloud Email, Brooklyn College Email)

5. Enter your name, CUNY Login credentials, and press Next.

• Your Name: The name you want visible in your email account.
• Email Address: Your CUNY Login username (Firstname.Lastname##@login.cuny.edu)
• Password: Your CUNY Login password.

If you are redirected to the CUNY Web Applications Login screen, sign in using your CUNY Login credentials.

6. After the setup process completes, confirming with “Congratulations”, press Finish.

7. Choose the newly created profile under Always use this profile, then press Apply and confirm with OK.

8. Launch Outlook, allowing it time to sync your cloud mailbox. You should see your individual mailbox and any shared mailboxes connected to your account.
