How do I get help with student affairs related questions and concerns?

Student Affairs provides various student support services to help students be successful. We understand that our students are busy and using the Student Affairs Help Tool (SAHT) can help you obtain answers quickly.

  • General Assistance/Student Ombuds
    • The Student Ombuds staff will act as a source of information on university rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, and will provide guidance in utilizing these resources as appropriate. General Assistance and guidance on any matter related to the college will also be provided.
  • Student Support Services (SSS)
    • SSS supports students by coordinating services across the campus and within the community to assist students facing crises, life traumas, and other barriers that may impede their success.
  • Commencement
    • Student Affairs coordinates the Commencement Ceremony and is available to assist students with questions or concerns about the different processes.
  • Complaint
    • Students who have a complaint can seek guidance from Judicial Affairs on options available to obtain a resolution.
  • Food Insecurity
    • Students who are experiencing food insecurity can meet with Student Affairs Staff to discuss available resources.
  • Health Clinic
    • The Health Clinic provides free and confidential health care to students. It provides evaluation and treatment for acute and chronic medical conditions as well as guidance on practices that promote good health and disease prevention.
  • Petrie Emergency Grant
    • The Carroll and Milton Petrie Student Emergency Grant Fund was created to provide eligible students facing short-term, nonrecurring emergencies with a one-time grant to alleviate the situation so they can continue and complete their education at the college.
  • Student Activities, Involvement and Leadership (SAIL)
    • SAIL provides co-curricular experiences that strengthen the personal development and academic growth of all students. They provide information and support for clubs, organizations and Student Government.
